When you draw a comic or manga for publishing, whether you work for a publishing company or you are self-publishing, you need to know the technical specifications for the printing company you are going with. If you haven’t done this before, the terms used can be confusing. This is not all you need to know - you will also have to know what resolution means, whether the printing company accepts CMYK, RGB, greyscale, or B&W (bitmapped) images, but those are for a later tutorial.
